26 октября в Духовно-просветительском центре «Сретение» состоялась встреча с председателем Синодального отдела по социальному служению и церковной благотворительности, епископом Орехово-Зуевским, викарием Святейшего Патриарха Московского и всея Руси Пантелеимоном с активистами молодежных организаций. Встреча проходила в рамках межрегиональной конференции «Милосердие – в сердце каждого».
В ходе беседы Владыка рассказал о своем детстве и юности, о том, как он пришел к вере.
«Мне было 24 года, когда я крестился. И вот уже 46 лет я стараюсь Бога узнать. Мне открылись очень многие тайны, и открылась радость. И я узнал, что есть жизнь, которая не подвластна смерти. Я понял, что к этой жизни можно приобщиться, что есть радости, которые не кончаются никогда», — сказал епископ Пантелеимон.
Молодежь очень тепло и радушно приняла нашего дорогого гостя.
В этот же день в учебном классе центра состоялся круглый стол «Семья как основа духовно-нравственной реабилитации заикающихся», который был организован Камчатской региональной общественной организацией «Общество заикающихся», председатель: Синюшкина Татьяна Анатольевна. Почетным гостем мероприятия стал епископ Орехово-Зуевский Пантелеимон.
Инициатива создания общества принадлежит иеромонаху Иоанну (Заяцу). Он является руководителем центра для заикающихся при Пантелеимоновом мужском монастыре в Петропавловске-Камчатском и духовно окормляет «Общество заикающихся». В основе работы организации лежит коррекция недуга заикания на основе духовно-нравственных аспектов.
«То, что вы делаете, — очень важно. Даже если один человек страдает, мы должны ему помочь. И об этом опыте нужно обязательно говорить, чтобы люди, страдающие этим недугом, имели возможность избавиться от него, знали, к кому можно обратиться», — отметил епископ Орехово-Зуевский Пантелеимон.
