10 марта — Прощёное Воскресенье, по традиции в этот день все православные христиане готовятся к самому долгому и строгому посту в году. Великий пост — духовная ВЕСНА души!
В этот день в духовно-просветительском центре Петропавловской и Камчатской епархии после Божественной Литургии состоялся концерт авторской песни Игоря Залюбовского, для детей воскресной школы прошли спортивные состязания и русские народные игры, а в начале праздника прошел фестиваль блинов и мёда. Также гостей праздника поздравили ансамбль гитаристов детской музыкальной школы №4 и молодежное движение «Скауты». Отдел по социальному служению и благотворительности провел акцию — «День добрых дел». Все желающие получили полную информацию о тех направлениях, которыми занимается отдел милосердия: приют для мам «Мамино Гнёздышко», центр помощи беременным женщинам «Покров», кормление бездомных, сестры милосердия, реабилитации алко- и наркозависимости, гуманитарный магазин. А те, кто решил присоединиться к волонтерам этих проектов, заполнили анкеты.
