28 ноября в Духовно-просветительском центре состоялся «круглый стол» Уполномоченного по правам ребёнка в Камчатском крае по вопросу профилактики прерывания беременности. Участники круглого стола обсудили ситуации, которые направлены на помощь женщине в выборе женщины сохранить своего малыша. Начальник отдела Министерства здравоохранения Камчатского края Ж.В. Гришутина представила за 8 месяцев статистику по Камчатскому краю, отметив, что абортов стало меньше по сравнению с прошлым годом, но всё же еще очень много (800 абортов). Начальник отдела Министерства труда и социального развития Камчатского края Я.К. Сапегина и председатель Совета РОО «Союз православных женщин Камчатки» Е.И. Ильина рассказали о мерах поддержки женщинам, оказавшимся в непростой жизненной ситуации.
Уполномоченный по правам ребёнка в Камчатском крае И.Э. Койрович объявила о начале проведения среди молодёжи Камчатского края конкурса социальной рекламы в виде видеороликов под названием «Я тоже хочу жить!».
