22 мая отмечается День Святого Николая Чудотворца. Святителя Николая;поистине любят и почитают во всем мире за чудеса, которые происходят по молитвам к нему.
Святитель Николай Чудотворец родился в Малой Азии в третьем веке в богатой христианской семье. С раннего детства он отличался набожностью и полностью посвятил свою жизнь церкви Христовой. Когда родители Святителя умерли, он унаследовал их состояние, однако полностью раздал его нуждающимся.
Русские люди стали почитать Святителя Николая вскоре после крещения Руси. Первые иконы святого появились в нашей стране не позже середины Х века. Перенесение мощей Святителя и Чудотворца; Николая из Мир Ликийских в Бари произошло в 1087 году.
Поздравляем всех православных христиан с праздником! Это христианское торжество не связано с трагическими событиями, поэтому праздновать его можно в кругу семьи легко и весело!
