Святитель Николай Чудотворец родился в Малой Азии в третьем веке в богатой христианской семье. С раннего детства он отличался набожностью и полностью посвятил свою жизнь церкви Христовой. Когда родители Святителя умерли, он унаследовал их состояние, однако полностью раздал его нуждающимся.
Русские люди стали почитать Святителя Николая вскоре после крещения Руси. Первые иконы святого появились в нашей стране не позже середины Х века. Перенесение мощей Святителя и Чудотворца; Николая из Мир Ликийских в Бари произошло в 1087 году.
Поздравляем всех православных христиан с праздником! Это христианское торжество не связано с трагическими событиями, поэтому праздновать его можно в кругу семьи легко и весело!

When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be an easy method you can remove me from that service? Thanks a lot.
