6 декабря – в День памяти Святого Благоверного князя Александра Невского в духовно-просветительском центре состоялась историческая викторина «Своя игра». Она прошла в рамках регионального этапа XXIХ Международных Рождественских образовательных чтений «Александр Невский: Запад и Восток, историческая память народа».
Пять команд школьников воскресных школ Петропавловской и Камчатской епархии приняли участие в состязании на лучшее знание жизни и подвигов Святого князя Александра Невского.
Русский полководец, Святой благоверный князь Александр Невский, князь Новгородский, великий князь Владимирский родился 30 мая 1220 года в городе Переславле-Залесском. Ему выпала нелегкая судьба: «для спасения Руси он должен был одновременно явить доблесть воителя и смирения инока». Самые известные его девизы вошли в историю: «Кто с мечом к нам придёт, тот от меча и погибнет!», «Если Бог за нас, кто против нас? Не в силе Бог, а в правде!».
Победителями викторины стали:
1 место – команда «Воскресение» храма прп. Сергия Радонежского,
2 место – команда «Благовещение» храма прп. Сергия Радонежского,
3 место – команда храма Св.Бл.князя Александра Невского.
Все участники викторины получили дипломы и поощрительные призы.
