22 марта в рамках просветительского проекта «Радость Слова» , посвященного дню православной книги состоялся краевой конкурс ораторского искусства. Участниками конкурса стали дети от 6 до 12 лет и подростки от 13 до 18 лет из городов Елизово, Вилючинск, Петропавловск — Камчатский, с. Мильково. Цель проекта — популяризация православной литературы и духовно-нравственное воспитание детей и подростков. Также 26 марта состоялось заседание жюри по краевому конкурсу изобразительного искусства «Радость Слова» в детской художественной школе Петропавловска-Камчатского. Лучшие работы и работы победителей будут выставлены в Духовно-просветительском центре Петропавловской и Камчатской епархии 31 марта в 13:00. Именно в этот день состоится торжественное закрытие просветительского проекта «Радость Слова» и церемония награждения победителей. В двух конкурсах приняли участие свыше двухсот детей Камчатского края.
