С 1 октября на территории Духовно-просветительского центра стали проходить уроки Духовной Академии для Университета Третьего возраста. Это специальные курсы, которые организованы Краевой библиотекой им. С.П. Крашенинникова для людей почтенного возраста. В рамках этого курса есть такая дисциплина как Духовная Академия, в которой изучается основы православной культуры и веры. Всю первую учебную четверть свыше пятнадцати человек посещали уроки каждую среду. Темы уроков были разными, это и Душа, Бог, Символ Веры, Страшный Суд. Хочется отметить что занятия невероятно сплотила сотрудников духовно-просветительского центра и самих участников этого проекта. Вместе 8 декабря, совершили выезд в детский дом для умственно отсталых детей в пос. Ягодный. Там наши учащиеся серебряного возраста стали волонтерами и провели мастер-класс по изготовлению новогодней открытки вместе с детьми детского дома. Хочется отметить очень теплую и дружественную атмосферу, которая была во время занятий с детьми. Итогом занятий стало то, что дети начали просить у бабушек маленьких подарочков, и как оказалось не напрасно. Каждая бабушка привезла для своих «внуков» сладкий подарок. Было так трогательно и удивительно видеть и слышать, как породнились люди пожилого возраста и дети. После занятий было чаепитие и поездка в горячие источники.
