В концертной программе приняли участие хор ветеранов войны и труда «Красная Гвоздика», выступили творческие коллективы «Маков цвет», «Забава», хор «Содружество», а также члены молодежных организаций и общественных объединений, школьники и воспитанники детских садов Петропавловска-Камчатского.
Людей старшего поколения поздравила заместитель министра социального развития и труда Камчатского края Ирина Кандаурова.
«В этот день принято отдавать дань почтения и уважения представителям старшего поколения. Это замечательный повод сказать еще раз слова благодарности за ваш самоотверженный труд, за вашу безграничную любовь к Камчатскому краю, за то, что для молодого поколения вы являетесь нравственным ориентиром. В ходе мероприятия заслуженные труженики Камчатки были награждены памятными подарками от краевого министерства социального развития и труда.
