Ежегодно в Духовно-просветительском центре проходит Детский пасхальный конкурс талантов «Весенняя капель». Он проводится в рамках празднования Светлого Христова Воскресения — Пасхи.
Цель конкурса — приобщение детей и подростков Камчатского края к русским вековым традициям, возрождение национальной православной культуры и выявление лучших творческих коллективов.
…Если заложить в раннем развитии ребенка понятия о добре и зле, правила христианской морали, традиционной для нашего общества, привить любовь к Родине, близким, родителям и Церкви, тем крепче он будет в юности и в зрелом возрасте противостоять напору негативной, разрушающей информации, которой наполнен сегодня наш социум. (Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Кирилл).
Конкурс проходит по четырём номинациям:
— «Лучший хореографический номер» на тему «Весенний ветер Победы».
— «Лучший вокальный номер» на тему «Весенний ветер Победы».
— «Лучшая театральная постановка» на тему «Свет души».
— «Лучшая работа в декоративно — прикладном творчестве» на тему «Пасхальные сувениры».
В конкурсе приняли участие ребята г. Петропавловск-Камчатского, г. Вилючинска, Елизовского района. В этом году из-за введения особых мероприятий в крае и в стране отборочный тур конкурса проводился в видео формате.
В результате длительной и непростой работы жюри победителями и призёрами краевого конкурса «Весенняя капель» стали.
