13 сентября, в воскресенье, была совершена Божественная литургия в Кафедральном соборе и молебен у часовни св. Петра и Февронии. Протоиерей Виктор Музыкант поздравил всех присутствующих и супружеские семьи Гончаровых, которые прожили вместе 50 лет, Нагорных и Корниенко с данным значимым событием.
Для детей и взрослых Духовно-просветительским центром и Краевой библиотекой была подготовлена праздничная программа. Замечательный концерт был нашим подарком всем жителям края.
В этот день Церковь отмечает память святых благоверных Петра и Февронии Муромских. Их брак стал образцом христианского супружества, а нынешний праздник – днем любящих людей и счастливой семьи.
Начиная с 2013 года Русская Православная Церковь празднует память святых Петра и Февронии не только летом, но и в сентябре — ежегодно в воскресенье, предшествующее 19 сентября, чтобы желающие могли в этот день вступить в церковный брак. В нынешнем году праздник приходится на 13 сентября.
В этот день священники обращаются в своей проповеди к теме любви, супружества и семейной жизни, а за богослужением возглашаются особые молитвенные прошения о даровании семьям «несокрушимой крепости и преуспевания в любви нелицемерной», «сохранении супружества в единомыслии, благочестии и чистоте».
